You know, in the test, besides checking your knowledge, teachers also add some “trap” questions to check if the students learn by rote, to make sure students ‘brains are working. There is a company, its has a 50-questions interview test with questions like: “Name three longest river of the world?”, “How many countries are there in the EU?”, “Who discovered the Americas? When?”, etc. The worst part is you will do it in only 10 minutes, most of the candidates pull their hair out. At last, only few people are chosen. They are the “laziest” cause only answer in one line. Because question 50 is: “You just have to answer question 5”. The aim of this test is not knowledge, the company want to find people have this basic skill: “analyze the problem clearly before acting”.
Bill Gates said that: “I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it”. Sometimes, be lazy intelligently, give you a little “pause” to “relax” and “sharpen the axe”!. You can hardly get better result if you do the same thing again and again.
